This 3/4" Dado Plane is used to make a 3/4" dado (groove) across or with the grain. The precision made nicker ensures a very neat and accurate dado as the wood fibers are cleanly severed ahead of the blade when planing across the grain. The plane also has a mechanically adjustable depth stop so you can plane the dado to a precise depth.

• It is 9” long x 1 3/8” wide x 3” high.

• Blade pitch of 60 degrees for superior results on hard, difficult, or reversing grain.

• 20 degree skewed blade for a smooth finish across the grain or with the grain in hard or difficult wood.

• Blade is 3/4” wide x 3/16” thick and is Tool Steel hardened to RC 62-64.

• Nicker blade is High Speed Steel T1 and is 3/4" wide with 3/8” of usable blade which will last a long time.

• Nicker blade is mechanically adjustable for easy set up.

• Made from Gidgee, a very dense and stable Australian wood.
