The Small Block Plane Holders are designed to hold most of the popular small block planes such as the Stanley and Lie-Nielsen 102 block planes and the Veritas Apron Plane. The Small Block Plane Holder can accommodate any small block plane with an overall width of 1-3/4" or less. Just like the Large Block Plane holder, the Small Holder is constructed with 8-10oz. Vegetable tanned Bridle Leather that has been wet moulded for ideal fit and finish. The entire assembly is held together with durable saddle stitching using waxed thread. The Small Block Plane Holder mounts to vertical surfaces using three brass screws(included). The end of the Small Block Plane Holder is left open to allow shavings, dust, or debris to pass right through. It also allows for easier maintenance, allowing you to properly oil the inside as well as the outside of the holder during routine maintenance. These holders are available in Chestnut, Golden Brown, and Black.
