This X Plane No 4 1/4 will feature all of the aspects from the original X Planes originally patented back in 1903 and 1904. Precise depth adjustment, exceptional balance, and the legendary Union irons are only some of the features included from the original. The X Plane No 4 1/4 is a 9 inch long smoothing plane, with a 2” cutter, and an adjustable mouth. The new X Plane No 4 1/4 will feature a new ‘micro’ adjustment for the mouth.
