This diminutive plane adjuster mallet is not only indispensable for adjusting wooden planes, but useful for metal-bodied planes without a lateral adjuster as well. By administering just a gentle tap or two in the proper location, this mallet makes possible the finest of adjustments to the blade. The mallet head is made from soft steel so as to not damage the plane blade. The 18th century inspired octagonal handle is made of air-dried American beech, and comes nicely to hand.

As suggested by its size and soft striking faces, this mallet is not intended for driving nails or brads.
