Clear, satin wood finish designed for exotic and oily wood species. Also works great on figured woods. Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin is resistant to water and dirt, is very durable, and smooths wood surfaces. Meets the wood’s natural demands: it is microporous and does not crack, flake, peel, or blister. Resistant against wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water in accordance with industrial norms. When dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals, and plants. It is even suitable for children’s toys.

APPLICATION

1. Stir well and prior to each use.

2. First coat on the raw, sanded wood. Approximately 194 sqft/1 L.

3. Allow to penetrate for 30 minutes. Wipe away all excess finish.

4. Drying time approximately 12 hours under normal climate conditions (73*F/50% relative humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase drying time. Allow for good ventilation.

5. If desired, the dried finish can be lightly hand sanded with fine grit sandpaper (320 or higher) or with a Scotchbrite pad before applying the second coat.

6. Second coat approximately 194 sqft/1 L. Allow to penetrate for 30 minutes and wipe away excess.

7. Drying time for Wood Wax Extra Thin Clear is approximately 12 hours under normal conditions (see #3).

For a high-sheen effect and extra durability you can apply one coat of Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin as a base coat and use Polyx-Oil for the second coat.
