This Large Curved Spokeshave is used for fine finishing of inside curves. You can also plane a combination of inside and outside curves with one pass once you have mastered this tool.

• 3" radius sole made of brass which protects the mouth.

• It is 11” long x 1” wide x 7/8” high.

• Weighs 1.1 lbs.

• Option of an O1 Tool Steel (O1 TS) blade hardened to RC 62-64 OR a High Speed Steel (HSS) blade hardened to RC 62.

• Blade pitch of 55 degrees for optimum results on hard, difficult, or reversing grain.

• Blade is reversible to bevel up, effectively creating an 85 degree blade pitch, allowing the spokeshave to be used as a scraper. It’s two tools in one!

• The HSS is ideal if you plan to reverse the blade to bevel up and use it as a scraper on hard or difficult grain. However, it will take longer to sharpen.

• The blade is 1 3/8” long x 1 3/4” wide x 1/16” thick.

• Made from Gidgee, a dense and stable Australian wood.
